The Amazon Fire 7 is a great budget tablet. It’s got a lot of features and it’s very affordable. But is it the right tablet for you? Read on to find out in our Amazon Fire 7 review.

Amazon Fire 7 Review

The Amazon Fire 7 is a sleek and stylish tablet that is available in a range of colors. It has a slim and light design that makes it easy to carry around with you. The tablet also has a built-in stand that makes it easy to use on the go.

The tablet has a 7-inch HD display that is perfect for watching movies and TV shows. The screen is also laminated which means that it is less likely to get scratched. The tablet also has an anti-glare coating which makes it easy to use in direct sunlight.

The Amazon Fire comes with 8GB of storage. This is enough to store a few movies and TV shows. However, if you want to store more, you can use the microSD card slot to add up to 128GB of extra storage.

The Amazon Fire runs on the Fire OS operating system. This is based on the Android operating system so you will be able to download a wide range of apps and games from the Amazon Appstore.

Display

The display on the Amazon Fire is excellent. It is a full HD display with a resolution of 1920×1080. The colors are bright and vibrant, and the text is sharp and clear. The viewing angles are good, and the screen is visible even in direct sunlight.

The touch screen is responsive and accurate. The bezels around the display are relatively small, which gives the Fire a modern look.

The overall build quality of the Fire is good. It feels solid and well-made. The back of the Fire is made of plastic, but it has a soft-touch coating that makes it easy to grip.

Software and Performance

The Amazon Fire 7 is a budget tablet that runs a forked version of Android. It’s not as fully featured as something like a Samsung Galaxy Tab, but it’s also much cheaper. The biggest downside to the Fire is that it doesn’t have access to the Google Play Store, so you’ll be limited to the apps that Amazon makes available.

Performance-wise, the Amazon Fire 7 is about what you would expect from a budget tablet. It’s not blazing fast, but it’s also not slow. navigates around the interface smoothly and doesn’t seem to bog down when running multiple apps at once.

The software on the Amazon Fire is a forked version of Android. This means that it’s not exactly the same as what you would find on a standard Android device. For example, there is no Google Play Store. However, Amazon does provide its own app store which has a decent selection of apps and games.

Overall, the Amazon Fire is a decent budget tablet. It’s not as powerful or feature-rich as some other options, but it’s also much cheaper. If you’re looking for a cheap tablet for basic use, the Amazon Fire is a good option.

Cameras

Amazon’s Fire phone comes with four cameras: a rear-facing 13 megapixel camera, a front-facing 2.1 megapixel camera, and two additional “Dynamic Perspective” cameras that are used to track the user’s head movements and provide a 3D effect.

The rear-facing camera is very good, taking clear and sharp photos. The front-facing camera is also decent, although it doesn’t perform as well in low light conditions. The two “Dynamic Perspective” cameras are a novel feature, but they don’t add much in terms of actual functionality.

Overall, the cameras on the Amazon Fire are good, but not great. They should be adequate for most users, but those who are looking for top-of-the-line performance will be disappointed.

Battery Life and Sound

The Amazon Fire 7 is a great tablet for its price, but it falls short in some areas. One area where it could be improved is battery life. The battery only lasts for about six hours of use, which is shorter than some other tablets on the market. The sound quality from the built-in speakers is also not as good as other tablets. However, these are minor complaints and overall the Amazon Fire is a great tablet for its price.

Conclusion

The Amazon Fire 7 is a great budget tablet for those who want to enjoy the benefits of a Kindle without spending too much money. It offers good value for its price, and while it is not as powerful as some of the more expensive options out there, it is still a very capable device. If you are looking for an affordable tablet that can do everything that you need it to, then the Amazon Fire 7 is definitely worth considering.
